Week 4/52 - From My Closet

A new shirt prepares to make some friends in my closet and I might finally be re-appearing after a feeling of being lost for the past couple of weeks.
* Not an original concept, but felt inspired to try something a little different.

 My absolute most favourite top & necklace from my closet.
Behind the butterfly is actually a working analog clock. It also has a blank part on the back awaiting something sentimental to be engraved... just haven't come up with anything special enough yet.

Week 3/52 - Become

When this was shot earlier in the week, i thought "Id like to become more patient, supportive and accepting of the important people in my life". But at the end of the week, it now turns out that they have been all those things and more for me.

I had another photo for this week but this morning I slid off the road. So I had become snowbound. I ended up being stuck for about 2 hours when a good Samaritan with a chain and 4x4 dragged me out.

This week my eldest signed the forms to become part of Tax paying society. He's endevouring to get a job soon....so here comes the reality of paying The Man, whilst also hoping to make enough to have a little fun with life :)

Week 2/52 - Morning Routines

Everyday for the past 6 months has begun at the exact same time, in the exact same way.

Wish I could say my morning routine is quiet reflection & a gentle start to the day, but with 4 kids & 2 of them under 5, my morning is usually based on me bribing plate & spoon usage & much instant coffee so I can get my quickest hit of caffeine to kickstart the day ;)

Week 1/52 - Looking Up

Gold Coast Hinterland, Australia.

Looking up from my garden stoop & wondering when this seemingly eternal downpour will show signs of slow down. The flood waters have broken now Brisbane's river banks & evacuated the capital city. Fingers remain tightly crossed the flood waters don't reach our city too and prayers for those lives already affected.

Yellow Gum Park, Melbourne, Australia

Ive lived in Melbourne almost my entire life and never knew that Yellow Gum Park even existed. It's actually an old quarry with a lake in the middle that changes colour depending on the time of year. Not that this photo has much to do with the park really. As we walked around I was picking up flowers, rocks and dandelions. It was a lovely day and my eyes were drawn up to the baby blue sky.
